You can top up max. CNY 20,000/transaction for a flat fee of only IDR 100K & money will arrive in just 20 minutes if the transaction is completed before 16.00 (GMT+7).

Before making a transaction, make sure to check these important details:

  1. The recipient must be a Chinese citizen or a Hong Kong/Macau resident with a Mainland Travel Permit.
  2. Ensure the recipient's Alipay ID (email or phone number) is valid.
  3. The recipient’s Alipay account has been verified. If it hasn’t been verified before, a verification link will be sent to the recipient via email or SMS.
  4. The recipient must activate their Alipay account balance within 24 hours after the transaction is created by providing:
  • Photocopy of recipient's ID card for Chinese citizens and Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong/Macau residents
  • Address details
  • Job industry
  • The relationship between the sender and the recipient

5. The recipient must sign an e-contract and grant permission to receive money into their Alipay balance.

For topping up Alipay to your recipient in China, follow these steps:

  1. Choose China as the destination country & input the amount you want to send. Make sure to send a maximum of CNY 20,000/transaction so the money will be credited to your recipient’s Alipay balance. If the amount exceeds this, it will be received in the recipient’s bank account linked to their Alipay account.
  2. Choose Alipay service then fill in the recipient’s details correctly.
  3. Make payment & you’re all set! To ensure the money you send is credited directly to the recipient’s Alipay account balance, don’t forget to inform them to select 'Wallet Balance' when receiving the money.
